Applications Strengthen NAMM California's Claims Processing, Medical Management, Member and Provider Service Capabilities
Perot Systems Corporation and North American Medical Management, California (NAMM California) announced today a new $46 million agreement, that extends and expands Perot Systems' role at NAMM California to include the integration of administrative and medical management applications.
The seven-and-a-half year agreement includes an expanded Application Service Provider (ASP) contract for Perot Systems' DIAMOND(R) 950 claims administration software and iDIAMOND(TM) claims administration service; MEDecision's Care Planner(TM) medical and utilization management software; and a Crystal Decisions' reporting application.
NAMM California is the second largest organization in California to develop and manage Independent Physician Associations (IPAs) and provide a full range of services to assist physicians in their managed care and business operations. Perot Systems will provide NAMM California with integrated advanced technology solutions for their claims administration, medical and utilization management, member services, and provider relations, thus allowing NAMM to more effectively promote wellness and administrative efficiency.
